Ms Nina McGrath

CX Headshot largeMs McGrath is currently the Group Safety Manager – FRMS for Cathay Pacific, based in Hong Kong.

Nina provides expert advice on fatigue risk management to businesses in safety critical industries that employ shift workers. Nina is currently the Group Safety Manager – FRMS for Cathay Pacific, based in Hong Kong.

Nina started her career with Virgin Blue (now Virgin Australia) where she co-designed and implemented the Virgin Blue FRMS. She then moved to London where she worked on the ongoing FRMS operation at easyjet and as a consultant with Clockwork Research, providing practical support and advice to clients developing, implementing or maintaining FRMS. Nina returned to Australia to advise on the Virgin Australia FRMS before taking up her current position managing all aspects of the Cathay Pacific and Dragonair FRMS’ by applying knowledge and expertise in fatigue risk management. In addition to serving on the FRMS Forum Management Committee, Nina also serves on the IATA FRMS Taskforce.

As a pilot holding an Australian Private Pilot License and Air Transport Pilot License (frozen), Nina’s flying experience, combined with her qualifications and comprehensive industry experience, provides a unique depth of understanding of all aspects of fatigue risk management.

Nina holds a Bachelor of Aviation from Griffith University, Australia and a Masters in Human Factors and Safety Management Systems from the University of South Australia, Australia.
