management committee

Management Committee

The management committee is elected at each annual general meeting by those attending that meeting. The current committee members are those shown below.

The Management Committee
The committee is comprised of individuals who have contributed much already to the FRMS knowledge base world wide and have considerable experience of the subject from either a scientific, regulatory or airline operational level. Accordingly, they are in a strong position to be able to guide the rest of the industry to develop their own FRMS, with less pain.

Current members include:

Douglas Mellor, FRMSc Limited

Dr Barbara Stone, FRMSc Limited

Captain Jim Mangie, Delta Airlines

Nina McGrath, Cathay Pacific Airlines

Joel Hencks, AeroEx

Captain Darrell Myers, ALPL

Captain Krisjof Tritchler, Eurowings

Kathryn Jones, latterly of UK CAA has a place on the committee as an observer.

Thank You
We are indebted to the generosity of these individuals and the companies they work for who have graciously offered to share their valuable experience. We are particularly grateful for previous management committee members who have charitably given invaluable help, gratis, to form the direction of the Forum before stepping down.

These include Dr David Powell of Air New Zealand, Captain Simon Stewart of Babcock Air services, Virgin Atlantic’s Captain Rob Holiday, Captain Pauline Preston and Philip Crossley; Dr Curt Graeber; Captain Adrian Amaladoss of Singapore Airlines; Captain Tony McKenzie of Etihad, Captain Wynand Serfontein of South Africa Airlines; Leigh White of Alertness Solutions and Richard Yates of Integrated Safety.

Thanks to all of these people for their generosity and immense help given.
