2017 Conference – Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th November
Our tenth conference will take place on 28th and 29th November 2017 in the capital of Norway, Oslo.
This is a great opportunity to participate in discussions on how to implement FRMS and network with regulators and operators to share lessons learned in an informal, convivial environment.
Norwegian Airlines has kindly offered to help out with the arrangements and act as host to their attractive country. The conference will be held in the Choice Quality Hotel Expo where we have secured advantageous terms for delegates. Log in here to access the registration form. Once you have accessed the members’ area with your account ID and password, you will see the link on the first promotion panel that will take you to the registration page and then onward to book hotel, conference package and networking dinner at cost.
If you are yet to join the Forum, please go here to join.
Those members who have forgotten their account details should contact us
The hotel is new and situated about 8-10 minutes by taxi from the centre of the city. Oslo international airport is almost 60km outside the city in the other direction so it is suggested that those travelling in by air may wish to take the fast shuttle train into the central station and then Bus 31 or 31E to Snarøya from Jernbanetorget …. or take a taxi from the station for the last 10 minute drive. There is a useful app to use to buy tickets and get train times so visit your favourite app store and search for “Flytoget”. Train tickets are NOK180 for each journey made.
Alternatively, you can stay on the train a little longer to the station Lysaker, then change to bus 24, 28, 31, 31E or 36E to Fornebuparken ….. or take a taxi at Lysaker station for the last few minutes’ drive to the hotel.
Oslo residents who prefer to sleep in their own beds or those who have booked too late and have to find alternative accommodation will be required to book the conference day package to cover lunches, refreshments at break times and use of venue, at cost.
The plan is to kick off the session with a cocktail party on the evening of 27th November sponsored by The FRMS Forum. All attending the Forum conference will be made welcome but you will need to register your intention to participate when you register for the conference in order that the correct catering arrangements can be made.
The Forum meeting will take up all of the following day and a half in their conference suite with the final presentation just before lunch on 29th November. A networking dinner will be provided as usual, on the evening of 28th November, at cost. Please book that when you register.
If there are any questions, please contact us.
Registration is now open for this conference. Log in here to access the registration form.
