Contact us or email us at email@example.com if you experience any difficulty with renewing your membership.
Note that the membership year is 1st January to 31st December of any year. All memberships renew on 1st January.
As usual, the deal will be to book your hotel room directly with the hotel by following the link provided with your acknowledgement after you register for the conference and book your conference package with The FRMS Forum.
The Conference Package
The conference package covers everything except the cost of the overnight stay in one of the hotel rooms. This comprises a share of costs of the venue and audio-visual equipment; refreshments at break times and lunches on both days, and the networking dinner (with an aperitif and glass or three of wine) on 15th April.
The cost of the conference package is GBP 470 per person. If you wish your partner to accompany you to Tokyo and join in the networking dinner, they will be more than welcome. There is a facility on the registration page to register and order dinner for your partner at GBP 95.00, including wine and alternative alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
We have secured some sponsorship and are consequently able to offer an earlybird discount for the first 50 registrants. This equates to a reduction of the Conference Package to GBP 400 per person. Please book early to secure this discount. Once the sponsorship is exhausted, the Conference Package will revert to GBP 470. The partner’s dinner costs will remain throughout at GBP 95.00 per person. The “earlybird” code will need to be entered at checkout.
We are also pleased to announce that a small number of bursaries are available for small airlines to attend the annual conference. If you have been unable to secure the earlybird discount and are classified as a small airline, then you can email Simon Wickes (firstname.lastname@example.org) with a short justification.
There will also be a cocktail party between 18:30 and 20:30 on the evening of 14th April that is sponsored by The FRMS Forum. All delegates and their partners are welcome to attend as part of the event. To make sure you get a drink, please check in at the registration desk outside the designated room for the party to collect your badge. The badge is “the link to the drink”.
To register for the conference, sign into the members area and follow the link to the 2024 Tokyo conference. You can order the conference package on the registration page and your automatic acknowledgement will provide the link to the hotel booking website. If you need rooms, just follow that link to book the rooms you require.
Our agreement with the hotel comprises of rooms (with breakfast) at this 4* hotel for ¥27,000 per night for single occupancy and ¥29,000 per night for double occupancy, excluding taxes. You can take nights both before and after the event in case you wish to enjoy some time off in the city and its environs.
Early registration is advised as the hotel will remove any untaken rooms in stages as time progresses. Should there be a spike in demand for rooms at the last moment, alternative rooms at near-by hotels may be secured albeit not at the advantageous process we have secured. The hotel will accept cancellations with no charge up to about a month or so before the date of the event so please book as soon as you can to secure a room!
Location of Hotel
The address and location of the hotel can be found on their website.
A draft agenda for the event will be published as it becomes available during the coming months. It is proposed that it will cover the sharing of experiences in managing fatigue and implementing FRMS in Commercial Airline transportation and possibly other occupations. Experiences and hurdles to overcome in managing fatigue will be explored by regulators, operators and unions who will be presenting developments in fatigue management from their perspectives.
Delegates from operators, unions and regulators wishing to present a paper are welcome to do so by contacting email@example.com. Other delegate groups are welcome to join in the debates with their opinions during the Q&A sessions following each presentation.
Experts responsible for managing fatigue from across the world will be invited to share their hands-on experiences and knowledge through a mix of presentations, panel sessions and popular network-friendly dinner on 15th April and welcoming cocktail party on the evening of 14th April 2024
